To increase your followers it is essential to be present and therefore: comment, leave Like, publish posts and take care of the profile and the Bio . Writing continuously and without going to head, however, is unaesthetic and suggests a feeling of disorder. In this guide, therefore, we will teach you how to wrap on Instagram in comments, posts and Bio.
Every time you leave a comment, edit your Bio or publish a post, you may have noticed that going to head on Instagram is not at all obvious , and indeed there is a need for a particular measure depending on whether you are using the Andoid app, the iOS app or your PC. And then go directly to the section that interests you most and let’s get started:
The special character that always works!
It is important that the latest version is installed on your smartphone / tablet or on your PC by Instagram . This will ensure that the procedure can be performed without problems. But more than anything else you need to know that it is important to use a special character : the procedures I show you below work but sometimes Instagram “throws a tantrum” and does not wrap correctly anyway. To insert a line break then you have to copy and paste the following white character:
Paste it several times if you want to add more than one line break. Copy the content inside the square brackets and not even the square brackets. I recommend that you save this font in a Notes app on your smartphone.
Go to Instagram in Posts
When we talk about Post Instagram we mean the function with which you can upload one or more photos and videos from your smartphone / tablet to the social network . At the time of loading, after modifying the content with various filters and tricks, you can add a caption in which to write a personal thought, tag friends and add Hashtags.
You may be wondering however, how to go to head on Instagram to be able to do all this in an orderly manner. The procedure is extremely simple from both the Android and iOS apps , but for the sake of completeness it is right to show you in detail how to do it. As you know from PC Instagram does not give the possibility to add Posts, even if we have already seen how to upload photos to Instagram from PC with various methods.
Procedure from the Android app
Going to the head on Instagram on an Android device is extremely simple and all you have to do is use the keyboard of your smartphone or tablet. There are hundreds of Android keyboards, however in most cases they are all similar and, to stay generic, we will use the Google keyboard official (GBoard) to show you how:
As you can see, at the bottom right there is a symbol of a arrow in green color which is not just for going to top Instagram, but that will perform the same function in any text field: SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook and so on. If your keyboard is slightly different, do not despair, and look for a key with the writing “ Enter ” or with a symbol similar to that arrow.
Procedure from iOS app
Similar to how we have seen for Android, it is possible to go to Instagram from the iOS app using the Apple keyboard (or another keyboard you have installed). In reality it is slightly less intuitive than Android because to go to the head you will have to use the Enter key but it does not immediately catch the eye:
To make it appear, in fact, you must first write “the first line” of the caption, then click the 123 key located at the bottom left of the keyboard, and finally you will find the Enter key at the bottom right which, when clicked, will send you to the next line. Now let’s see how to implement the procedure inside the comments.
Go to Instagram in comments
Under each Instagram post you can add comments in which to reply to the post, tag friends and add hashtags. However, unlike with Posts, you will not be able to go to Instagram by simply clicking the Enter key on your keyboard. Why? Simple, in the comments the Enter key is replaced by the button to send the comment .
In short, clicking that button not only will not go to the head, but you will immediately send the comment under the post . But rest assured, there is a way for this too and it can be applied both from smartphones and tablets and from PCs. Let’s see how:
Procedure from Android app
The most effective and convenient way to wrap in Instagram comments is to use a note app . On Android devices, such an app is often already present, but if not, you can always take a look at our article on the best apps for taking notes on Android. In our example we will use Google Keep , but they are all very similar:
Once you have chosen the notes app, open it and create a new note : at this point you will find that you have full control of your keyboard and therefore – just as seen in the previous section – you will have access to the Enter key to return . Once finished, press and hold on the comment, click on “ Select all ” and then on “ Copy ” to copy the comment.
All that remains is to return on the Instagram app and paste the comment you just copied as a comment to the Post. To do this, find the post you wanted to comment, click the balloon icon to access the comments and press and hold the text box with your finger. Now you can select “ Paste ” and see your comment. All that remains is to send it by pressing the arrow key at the bottom right.
Procedure from iOS app
Even on the iPhone / iPad the most convenient and effective (albeit a bit boring) way to go to Instagram in the comments is to use a note app . In particular, the Notes app is already pre-installed on iOS where you can create a new note and freely write whatever you want by going to the end with the Enter key at the bottom right in the keyboard.
When you have finished writing, click with your finger on the text, select it completely and finally click on the “ Copy ” button which will appear as in the photos above. All that remains is to go to Instagram, look for the Post you want to comment and click the cartoon-shaped symbol below it. At this point click on the text box and the “ Paste ” button will appear to paste the comment. All that remains is to send it by clicking on “ Publish ” or on the arrow key at the bottom right.
Procedure from Computer
If you are from PC you will not be able to publish posts, unless you follow our guide on how to upload photos to Instagram from PC, but you can still comment under the posts that you will be shown. Regardless of whether you are using Instagram from an app or from the website, you can go to the head in a simple and very fast way:
In fact, from the PC there is a simple shortcut to go to the head that obviously it doesn’t just work on Instagram but in any text editor or website . In fact, to go to the end, all you have to do is press the Shift and Enter keys at the same time . The Shift key is recognized by the presence of an arrow pointing upwards or the writing “ Shift ” on it. It is usually located on the left of the keyboard, above the Ctrl key.
Go to the head on Instagram in the Biography
For those who do not have it in mind, the Bio Instagram is nothing more than a description of themselves that you can find in the section dedicated to your profile both from smartphone and from PC by selecting the icon in the shape of a little man and finally clicking on the writing “ Edit profile ” . A well detailed and aesthetically curated Instagram Bio is a business card for the profiles that watch you and that could follow you.
Procedure from the Android app
If you have an Android device you are lucky because going to head on Instagram in your Bio will be a breeze! Once you reach your profile and click on Edit profile, you can freely write in all the text fields and add: Name, profile name, biography (Bio), website and much more.
If you want to make it more attractive and tidy – going to the head in the Bio – all you have to do is click the Enter key at the bottom right of your keyboard. True, we don’t all have the same keyboard and there are tons of Android keyboards to download, but typically the Enter key is always located at the bottom right. Once you have finished the changes save everything by pressing the “V” in blue at the top right.
Procedure to iOS app
Contrary to Android, on iOS going to head on Instagram in the Bio is impossible and therefore, as seen in the previous paragraph, you will have to rely on an app for notes. Fortunately, the Notes app is pre-installed on iOS where you can quickly create a new note and write your Bio by freely rewinding with the Enter key that will appear on the keyboard.
Once you have written the Bio, click on it with your finger and choose “ Select all ”and then click on“ Copy “. Now that you have copied your new Bio, all you have to do is paste it on Instagram by going to your profile, clicking on Edit Profile and, finally, moving to the biography section: at this point, click with your finger in the box text and select “ Paste ” as soon as it appears on the screen. The game is done! Click on “ Finish ” at the top of everything to save the changes.
Procedure from Computer
Even from a PC, and more precisely from both the Instagram app and the website, you can change your profile and go to head in the Bio quickly and easily. Once you have opened Instagram, go to your profile by clicking on the little man icon at the top right. At this point select “ Edit profile ” at the top and you will have a screen like this:
To go to the head in the Bio Instagram all you have to do is press the Shift and Enter keys at the same time . The Shift key is recognized by the presence of an arrow pointing upwards or the writing “ Shift ” on it. It is usually located on the left of the keyboard, above the Ctrl key. Once finished, click the blue “ Submit ” button at the bottom of the page.
